Terms & Policies
TermsVersion 2026-10-16-v10-terms
These Terms set out your rights and obligations when using THE RING store and buying its products, from selection, payment and acceptance to preparation, delivery and handling claims.
1 About us and these Terms
1.1 The seller
The website at https://thering.ae (the Website) is operated by HAYA VISION JEWELLERY L.L.C., a limited liability company established in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, trading as THE RING (we, us or our). Commercial licence number: 1642628, issued by the Department of Economy and Tourism, Dubai. Registered address: Office C1802-12, Ontario Tower, Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Email: support@thering.ae. Customer service hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, Dubai time, excluding public holidays.
1.2 Scope
These Terms and Conditions (the Terms) govern use of the Website and orders placed through it. They are available before you place an order, and you must expressly accept them before payment. Your order specifications and the prices, timing and commitments disclosed and agreed before payment form part of your agreement with us.
1.3 Related policies
The Privacy Policy available on the Website explains how we handle personal data. Shipping, return and care summaries must be read with these Terms. Accepting the Terms or buying a ring does not, by itself, constitute consent to optional marketing or non-essential tracking.
1.4 Mandatory rights
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes a right, remedy or obligation that applicable law does not permit us to limit or exclude. This includes mandatory UAE law and mandatory consumer protection applicable to your transaction in another country. Those protections prevail over any inconsistent provision.
2 Using the Website
2.1 Eligibility
To place an order, you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity required by applicable law to contract. If you act for an organisation, you must be authorised to bind it.
2.2 Accounts and guest checkout
You may purchase as a guest or create an account. Creating an account does not itself place an order or establish eligibility to purchase. Access to an account and the linking of guest orders require reliable verification of the email owner; a matching email address alone is insufficient. Keep your credentials confidential and report suspected unauthorised use promptly. Responsibility for unauthorised use depends on the facts and applicable law, and does not arise automatically merely because an account was used.
2.3 Accurate information
Provide accurate and complete information, including your name, email, delivery address, ring size and selected options. If another person will receive the order, you must be entitled to provide their details and tell them how those details will be used for delivery and order service. Report errors promptly. Address changes are subject to verification and safe operational feasibility.
2.4 Availability
We work to keep the Website available and secure but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may carry out maintenance, security measures or reasonable changes to Website services. This does not remove our obligations for paid or accepted orders or your data rights.
2.5 Acceptable use
You must not use the Website unlawfully or fraudulently, place fictitious orders, use a payment method without authority, introduce malicious code or bypass security measures. You must not extract or commercially exploit content without permission or another lawful entitlement. Purchases for commercial resale require our prior written agreement.
2.6 Access restrictions
We may reasonably restrict access or suspend an account to address a breach or security risk. We explain the reason where legally and safely possible. Suspension does not extinguish a valid claim concerning an order, refund or personal data.
3 Our products
3.1 Descriptions
We take care to describe products accurately. Only the products and options offered in the relevant purchase flow are available to buy. We do not substitute a model, metal, stone, colour or size without your agreement.
3.2 Binding Specifications
The specifications we commit to (the Binding Specifications) are the ring model, metal type and fineness, colour and finish, ordered size, stone type and disclosed treatments, and the weights, grades and documents stated for the item, as disclosed and agreed before payment and recorded in your order. A tolerance applies only within clause 3.5.
3.3 Metals and finish
Our silver rings are 950 fineness and our gold rings are 18K (750). Women’s flower rings have a Soft Satin Polish finish across the available metal and stone options. Only white-gold rings with a shiny finish are rhodium plated; this does not mean every white-gold ring is plated. Rings bear fineness and brand marks applied by the manufacturer. A factory mark is not, by itself, an independent assay certificate or an official government hallmark and does not replace a legally required assay, recognised hallmark or document.
3.4 Images and natural variation
Images may be enlarged, and appearance may vary with photography, lighting and screens. Minor finishing differences and natural characteristics may occur within the disclosed specifications. These differences do not excuse incorrect fineness, stone or size, defective manufacture or material non-conformity.
3.5 Tolerances
Weights and design dimensions expressly identified as approximate before purchase may vary by no more than 2.5% from the stated value. This tolerance does not apply to metal fineness, stone identity, ordered size, a stated grade, characteristics of an individually certified stone or a guaranteed minimum weight. An individually agreed specification prevails.
3.6 Stones
The decorative stones offered under the commercial name “zircon” in our standard options are man-made stones, not natural zircon, diamond or ruby. Diamonds offered as diamonds in our collection are natural. The identity and characteristics of other stones, including ruby, are identified in the correct description and specified documents for the selected piece before purchase. A colour name or stone shape does not identify it as diamond, and a generic name or image does not replace identification of its actual material. We do not infer a stone’s carat weight, grade, origin, treatment or laboratory report from photographs, colour, product category or price. Every disclosed and agreed characteristic, treatment or document forms part of the Binding Specifications; no general description authorises a different stone or an undisclosed material treatment. The stones do not transform between red and white; on a two-sided men’s ring, turning the ring over displays the stone on its other face. This describes the two-colour design and does not guarantee that a stone’s appearance remains unchanged under every condition of use.
3.7 Documents and certificates
Where the product description or our written order confirmation specifies an IGI document, we supply it as an agreed specification. The document’s type and scope are identified for the piece; it may cover several mounted stones together without a separate detailed grading report for each stone. Its findings, estimated weights and any grading ranges are read within its stated scope and examination limits, including limits arising from the setting. We do not promise a grade, weight or stone count that has not been specified for the piece. Products may also include a THE RING or supplier specification card; that is not an independent grading report. We supply any certificate or document legally required for the item through the legally required body; a general card or document lacking the prescribed information does not replace it. A report is an expert opinion on the identified piece or stones, not a promise of investment value or a justification for supplying contrary to the agreed specifications.
3.8 Limited editions and availability
Products are offered by pre-order as a limited release, with availability restricted by the production allocation for that release. Individual numbering is provided only where expressly stated. Limited Edition does not mean immediate dispatch or acceptance of every order. Availability depends on fulfilment capacity, legal and carrier eligibility, and the options available when you order. A sold-out or availability notice is not a reservation or promise that a further release will be made.
3.9 Value
Prices reflect design, craftsmanship, materials and service. We do not guarantee investment value, resale price or future buyback, and do not offer a ring buyback programme.
4 Ring sizing
4.1 Choosing your size
Check the sizing system and item guide carefully. We recommend professional finger measurement. Temperature, time of day and band width can affect fit. You are responsible for your selection, but this does not excuse an error in our guide or description.
4.2 Fit
A ring conforming to the size you selected is not defective merely because it does not fit your finger. A different size or material manufacturing deviation from the agreed size is a non-conformity issue under clause 8.
4.3 No resizing service
We do not offer resizing. This does not affect a remedy to which you are entitled if the ring arrives in the wrong size or with a manufacturing defect.
5 Orders and acceptance
5.1 Placing an order
Review the ring, options, size, contact and delivery details, product price, discount, shipping charge, international import-charge responsibility and preparation period before payment. Submitting a paid order is a request to buy on those details and these Terms. A single online order may contain no more than 10 rings. An enquiry about a larger quantity is not a paid order, deposit, capacity reservation or accepted contract.
5.2 Payment and registration
The full displayed amount is collected at purchase through the Stripe payment interface embedded in the Website or the secure Stripe flow provided for the transaction. Successful payment and order registration do not, by themselves, mean Order Acceptance or the start of manufacture. While awaiting acceptance, the notice is: “Your order has been registered. It will be accepted shortly.” A payment receipt or registration notice is not an acceptance confirmation.
5.3 Acceptance
The sales contract is formed when we actually accept your order after verifying payment, fulfilment feasibility and the necessary checks (Order Acceptance). Acceptance may be recorded automatically for an eligible order or by an authorised team member. A payment, fraud or compliance hold does not become acceptance merely through the passage of time. We record acceptance in the order, make its status available to you and send confirmation. The recorded acceptance time governs; formation does not depend on successful delivery of the email. The acceptance message is: “Your order has been accepted. Let’s celebrate love together.”
5.4 Refusal and cancellation by us
Before acceptance, we may refuse an order for unavailable supply or capacity, destination restrictions, failed payment, reasonable fraud concerns or inability to complete necessary verification. After acceptance, we cancel only with your agreement or on a ground permitted by law. Manifest errors are addressed under clause 6.4, and manufacturing delay or inability to perform under clauses 9 and 14.
5.5 Refund when we cannot fulfil
We notify you without undue delay if we do not accept or cannot fulfil an order and refund the payments due for it, including shipping charges where required. A provider settlement delay does not justify retaining the price of an unfulfilled order. Where an amount is subject to a bank dispute or legal restriction, we coordinate the appropriate process to avoid duplicate reimbursement and address your entitlement. External import amounts are addressed under clauses 7.10 and 8.7.
5.6 Verification and review
We may request proportionate identity or payment-authority information for a large, unusual or suspicious order or to meet a legal obligation. Acceptance or fulfilment may be temporarily held for this purpose, with information provided to you where legally possible. Data is handled under the Privacy Policy. We do not ask you to email a full card number or security code. A held order is not left unresolved or without appropriate notice indefinitely.
5.7 Changes and cancellation requests
We do not provide self-service order amendments or a guaranteed period for changing specifications or cancelling after submission, or a general voluntary cancellation programme for accepted orders. If you notice an error or wish to request a change, contact support@thering.ae promptly. We check feasibility and safe execution, and a change is agreed only when we confirm it in writing under clause 5.10; silence is not approval. This does not restrict correction of our error or any cancellation, withdrawal or refund right required by law, including section 17 where applicable.
5.8 Order record and invoice
We provide an electronic invoice and confirmation identifying the products, specifications and relevant amounts. The order record identifies the accepted Terms version, acceptance time and preparation period. The price, specifications and version attached to your order remain fixed and are not replaced by later Website updates. Any amendment we agree in writing, its price difference and effective time are documented while preserving the original record, rather than erasing the previous agreement or changing other orders.
5.9 Fulfilment status
Payment receipt, acceptance, manufacture, shipment and delivery are distinct stages. Acceptance does not mean the item is ready. We send the shipping notice and tracking information when the shipment is actually handed to the carrier and do not describe an order as in transit merely because a label has been created without carrier collection or a reliable transport event.
5.10 Written approved amendments
Where feasible, we may agree to change a size, option or product before delivery. This changes the ordered specifications; it is not a service for resizing a delivered ring. We confirm in writing the new specifications, revised total price, any additional payment or refund, and the effect on preparation and any specially agreed date. We do not unilaterally increase the price, substitute a piece or restart the preparation period. The original order remains the basis for fulfilment until we agree the amendment and its conditions are met, including verification of any required additional payment; we then confirm the effective specifications. We may temporarily hold affected fulfilment while an agreed amendment or its payment is being resolved, notifying you of the effect; the hold does not automatically restart the preparation period. If agreement or the conditions are not completed, we explain the effect on the original order and do not automatically treat it as cancelled or amended. Earlier individual commitments remain respected unless expressly varied with your agreement. Price differences are handled under clause 6.11 without affecting mandatory rights.
6 Prices and payment
6.1 Prices and taxes
Prices and payment are in UAE dirhams (AED). The displayed product price is the final product price agreed at purchase. At the date these Terms were last updated, the company is not registered for UAE VAT; we do not collect UAE VAT on your purchases or present 5% as VAT collected on our sales. Corporate-tax registration is not VAT registration, and being unregistered does not mean the products are VAT-exempt or zero-rated. If registration status changes, the applicable treatment and prices are disclosed before new orders are agreed; a later internal tax review does not increase the price agreed for an existing order. Selecting an offered size does not add a size-based surcharge. Any reference amount shown in another currency is indicative only; the order is charged in AED, and your bank may apply its own conversion rate and charges.
6.2 Total breakdown
Before payment, checkout identifies the products, applicable discount, transport charge and total payable to THE RING. Destination import duties, taxes and clearance fees are excluded and paid separately under section 7. We do not add a payment-method surcharge. Your bank may impose currency-conversion or other charges under its agreement with you; those are not charges imposed by us.
6.3 Price lock
Prices for future orders may change, including with gold or material prices. Your product price, valid discount and agreed delivery charge are fixed when you purchase and pay; they do not change merely because acceptance or manufacture takes time or material prices move. An amendment you request and we agree in writing is governed by clauses 5.10 and 6.11. Destination import charges are external amounts paid separately by the recipient, not a later adjustment by us to your order total.
6.4 Price or description errors
If we identify a manifest error affecting your order, we contact you promptly and explain the options. We do not impose a higher price or a different product without your agreement. Correction or cancellation of an accepted contract is subject to law. Where cancellation is permitted, we refund the amount due without penalising you merely for our error.
6.5 Payment methods
We accept cards through Stripe and Apple Pay or Google Pay where the wallet is available and eligible for your device, browser, card and transaction. Display or availability may differ between customers. Payment is collected in full at purchase. Cash on delivery, deposits and instalments are not part of this purchase flow.
6.6 Payment authority
You must be authorised to use the payment method. Your payment authorisation at purchase is for the displayed total. Your bank or Stripe may require additional authentication such as 3D Secure. We do not use that authorisation to debit later destination duties, taxes or clearance fees, and do not send import-shortfall payment links under this delivery arrangement. A secure link for a product-amendment price difference you requested and expressly agreed under clause 6.11 is a separate matter.
6.7 Stripe and card data
Stripe processes payments through its secure checkout, together with parties needed for payment processing, including Network International LLC where applicable to UAE processing arrangements. Their own processing is subject to their terms and privacy notices. We do not receive or store full card numbers or security codes. We may receive payment references, status and limited information needed for fulfilment, verification and refunds, as explained in the Privacy Policy. Use of a payment provider does not transfer our obligations to you.
6.8 Failed or duplicate payment
An order is not accepted without verified successful payment. If a charge appears despite an error message or you suspect a duplicate payment, contact us for reconciliation before retrying. We do not require a second payment merely because our Stripe payout is delayed. We reconcile a duplicate and refund any excess due under clause 6.9.
6.9 Refunds
We process a refund due through Stripe to the original payment method, ordinarily within 5 to 10 working days after confirming entitlement and always within any shorter period required by law. Bank posting time is separate. If the original method cannot receive it, we explain a suitable secure and lawful alternative. We do not replace a mandatory refund with store credit without your agreement or deduct payment-processing fees from it.
6.10 Bank disputes
You may exercise lawful bank-dispute rights. We may provide accurate payment, order, fulfilment and communication evidence to the relevant provider. Refunds and disputes are coordinated to avoid recovery of the same amount twice. We do not impose a penalty merely for a good-faith dispute, and contacting us does not restrict your rights with your bank.
6.11 Agreed amendment price difference
If you request an amendment that we agree in writing, we explain the original amount, revised amount and difference before collecting or refunding it. We do not debit an additional amount from your card without separate authorisation. We may provide a secure Stripe link associated with your order to pay the agreed difference; verify it through support@thering.ae if uncertain. Creating the link or sending an unverified receipt does not establish successful payment or completion of the amendment. If a difference is refundable, we confirm and process it under clause 6.9 and the applicable legal deadline. Discounts are allocated to amended items under the offer and lawful agreement without punitive repricing of retained products. A product-amendment difference is separate from external import charges and does not authorise collecting them twice.
7 Delivery and import charges
7.1 Carrier and destinations
We ship through DHL Express within the UAE and to international destinations available for your product at checkout. International service depends on the product, value, origin, legal restrictions and carrier acceptance. Displaying a delivery charge or listing a country does not, by itself, guarantee eligibility for every jewellery item or address. If a paid order cannot be fulfilled, clause 5.5 applies.
7.2 Address and delivery information
Provide a complete, accurate and deliverable address and the details reasonably needed by the carrier and destination, including a postcode, telephone number, region or identification where required. A field being optional, an address appearing in a list or a shipping quote being returned does not establish that every address detail has been verified by DHL. We may contact you for clarification before dispatch. We do not guarantee redirection after dispatch; changes require verification of authority and operational feasibility. We do not charge an undisclosed penalty for requesting clarification.
7.3 Preparation period
The period displayed for your order is the time to readiness for dispatch from Dubai, beginning at actual Order Acceptance. It is not a promise of arrival at your address within the same period. Transit and clearance are additional and vary by destination. The period applicable to each item is identified before payment, and the order timing follows clauses 7.4 and 9.
7.4 Multiple-item orders
An order with more than one ring, including Yours & Mine, uses the longest preparation period among its items, and the items ship together. This is displayed before payment and recorded for the order. Changes to release availability for new orders do not change an existing order period.
7.5 Calculating periods
Weeks are calendar periods of 7 days. A month is a calendar month ending on the corresponding day or the last day of the month if no corresponding day exists. Two and a half months means two calendar months plus 15 days. Working days, where expressly stated, exclude Saturdays, Sundays and UAE public holidays. Order dates are displayed in Dubai time.
7.6 Early dispatch and delay
We may dispatch earlier when ready and notify you. Transit estimates do not remove our obligation to address delay or loss. If an essential date is expressly agreed before purchase, its importance and the related legal rights are respected. Manufacturing delays are addressed under clause 9.5.
7.7 Shipping charge
UAE delivery is free. For supported international destinations, THE RING’s delivery charge is shown before payment according to the destination and order contents and is fixed when you pay. It may depend on the number of gift boxes required for the order. We do not later increase that charge merely because the carrier’s actual cost differs. Destination import charges are separate. Proven customer-caused redelivery or return costs are addressed under clause 7.16 and the law.
7.8 International import charges
International delivery is on a recipient-paid import basis (DAP). Import duties, destination taxes and clearance fees are not included in the amount you pay to THE RING. The recipient pays lawful amounts directly to DHL, the relevant carrier process or the competent authority when requested. We do not collect an import estimate at checkout or promise a final landed price inclusive of those external charges.
7.9 Carrier billing
We pay the agreed transport charge through our carrier arrangement. This does not mean that destination duties and taxes are billed to our account or paid by us. We do not operate a sender-paid import settlement or a later import-balance collection service for these orders. Any different arrangement must be expressly agreed for the transaction before payment.
7.10 Assessments and corrections
Customs and other competent authorities determine the lawful assessment. Seek clarification of an external charge through the carrier or authority that requested it and retain official assessments, invoices and receipts. We provide order and shipment information reasonably needed to correct an error. Where our incorrect declaration or another breach causes a loss for which we are legally responsible, this section does not exclude the remedy owed by us.
7.11 No import reconciliation
There is no import estimate or reconciliation balance held by THE RING under this arrangement. We do not automatically reconcile a carrier invoice against your product payment, collect an import shortfall or refund an estimated import excess. A refund we owe for a product, delivery failure or cancellation remains a separate matter governed by these Terms and law.
7.12 Authenticating payment requests
Pay legitimate import amounts only through an authenticated carrier or authority channel. Check unexpected links before paying and contact us if a request purports to come from THE RING for an import shortfall. Do not send full card details or security codes by email or message. A reasonable good-faith challenge to an incorrect external charge does not itself forfeit the product price or a mandatory remedy.
7.13 Clearance cooperation
The recipient must reasonably cooperate with lawful customs and carrier requirements. Carrier transit and clearance estimates are not guarantees of entry, release or delivery on a specific date. We assess product eligibility, including the relevant jewellery, value and origin restrictions; a country being selectable or a rate being available does not authorise shipment contrary to law. If fulfilment is not possible, clauses 5.5, 7.16 and 14 apply as appropriate.
7.14 Customs value and origin
We declare the proper customs value and actual manufacturing origin of the item and provide legally required shipment information. The rings in our current collection are manufactured in the United Arab Emirates, and the correct country of manufacture is recorded in the item and shipment documents. Packing, fulfilment or dispatch from Dubai does not by itself change manufacturing origin. We do not accept requests to state a false value, gift status or origin or promise to bypass permits, assays, sanctions or other lawful restrictions. A commercial discount does not itself determine the lawful customs value.
7.15 Receipt and remedies for loss
Delivery may require a signature, identity evidence or an authorised recipient, depending on the delivery arrangement and shipment value. We do not promise a particular signature-verification service for every order. Your entitlement to a remedy for loss or damage before delivery does not depend on shipment insurance or the outcome of our claim against the carrier. Unattended delivery, if available and requested, is subject to verification, service terms and law, without reducing our mandatory obligations.
7.16 Failed delivery
If delivery fails because of an incorrect address, non-response, refusal or failure to cooperate with a lawful import requirement, we coordinate with DHL and contact you about return, redelivery or an appropriate lawful resolution. Return is not assumed to follow a universal number of attempts. We need not bear redelivery costs proven attributable to you and may recover only reasonable actual costs permitted by law. The full product price is not automatically forfeited, and we do not deduct estimated manufacturing loss or a penalty without a lawful basis.
7.17 Risk and title
Risk of loss or damage passes on actual delivery to you or an authorised recipient, subject to mandatory rights. A tracking status alone does not resolve disputed receipt. Ownership of the item passes on delivery after payment of its price and the agreed shipping charge. If it is lost or damaged before delivery, we address replacement, refund or another remedy required by law without requiring indefinite waiting for a carrier insurance settlement.
7.18 Inspection and evidence
Inspect the package at delivery. If it appears opened or damaged, record this with the carrier or refuse receipt where appropriate and notify us promptly. Retain available packaging, documents and photographs. Visible damage, missing contents or a wrong item are addressed under clause 8.2 without removing rights concerning a hidden defect or incorrect delivery.
8 Returns exchanges and refunds
8.1 Defects and non-conformity
If a ring is defective, damaged before delivery, incorrectly supplied, incomplete or contrary to its Binding Specifications, we provide the repair, replacement, refund or other remedy required by applicable law. Where we are responsible, we bear the necessary return and remedy costs and refund shipping and associated amounts as required by law. Pre-order or made-to-selection status does not exclude these cases.
8.2 Reporting and evidence
Please notify support@thering.ae within 48 hours of receipt of visible damage, missing contents or a wrong item, with your order number, a description and available photographs. Where available, we request a continuous video beginning with the sealed package before opening and showing its opening and contents to assist verification. Lack of a video or later notice does not automatically defeat a statutory claim, and this period does not affect hidden defects discovered later.
8.3 Return procedure
Contact us for return instructions and suitable collection arrangements. Return the affected item with its documents, accessories and packaging where reasonably available. Do not destroy evidence or undertake a repair that prevents fair assessment. Missing original packaging alone does not extinguish a statutory right. Do not send jewellery to an unconfirmed address or through an unsuitable carrier.
8.4 Assessment
We normally examine the item and tell you the result within one week after receiving it, explaining the reason and expected timing of any necessary delay. We may refer to packing video, technical evidence and relevant documents. We explain the basis of our finding; our assessment does not remove your right to challenge it, provide other evidence or seek recourse from a competent authority.
8.5 No additional voluntary return programme
We do not offer an additional voluntary return or exchange programme for changing your mind or selecting a size, colour or stone that does not suit you. Mandatory withdrawal, return, cancellation and refund rights remain available, including section 17 where applicable, and a particular amendment may be considered under clause 5.10. A consumer-specification or personalisation exception is used only when its actual legal requirements are met; the words pre-order or made to order, or selection from standard catalogue options, do not by themselves remove a mandatory right.
8.6 Use and external damage
Ordinary wear and damage actually caused by impact, misuse, alteration or third-party repair are not manufacturing defects. We assess cause and its relationship to the problem. Use or third-party work does not automatically invalidate an unrelated original-defect or misdescription claim. Stone loss caused by defective setting is different from stone loss proven to result from impact.
8.7 Refund amount
A product refund reflects the amount actually paid for the affected item after its valid discount, plus shipping and other amounts due by law. For a partial multiple-item refund, we use the discount allocation recorded for the order and do not impose an arbitrary penalty or retrospectively reprice remaining items. External destination import charges paid to a carrier or authority are not funds held by us; we assist with evidence needed for a correction or refund where appropriate. This does not exclude compensation or reimbursement for which we are legally responsible.
8.8 Remedy and timing
We explain the available remedy and its timing. We do not impose repair or replacement where law gives you a right to a refund or choice of remedy, and an unavailable replacement or ended edition does not remove a refund entitlement. Necessary defect repairs and replacement parts carry the protection required by law. Refunds follow clause 6.9 or the shorter applicable period, including section 17. An inspection target is not permission to postpone an already established mandatory remedy.
9 Pre orders and manufacture
9.1 Fulfilment model
Our rings are sold by pre-order and fulfilled according to the model, metal, stone, finish and size you select. Fulfilment includes capacity allocation, sourcing, preparation and manufacture as appropriate to the item and its schedule. Acceptance does not mean every manufacturing operation has started immediately, and the fulfilment model does not reduce specifications or legal rights.
9.2 Approved selections
The product options, size, amounts and preparation period disclosed before payment are the basis for fulfilment. Acceptance authorises fulfilment of those selections under the agreed schedule. We do not accept customer-supplied designs, stones or metals or offer engraving, customer photo uploads or customer-written personal messages as part of the ring order. Brand-selected photographs and messages included with the presentation are addressed in clause 9.7.
9.3 Checking selections
Check your selections carefully before payment. We are not responsible for a selection error you made except as law requires or where our description or guide contributed to it. A size acknowledgement does not excuse our supplying a different size or a non-conforming ring.
9.4 Changes and cancellation
Clauses 5.7, 5.10 and 8 apply to pre-orders and orders fulfilled to your selections. Manufacture not having started does not itself create an additional voluntary cancellation facility, and describing an order as pre-order or customised does not itself remove mandatory rights. Merely submitting an amendment request does not change the order or restart its preparation period; any new specifications or timing require a clear written agreement. Contact us to exercise an applicable legal right.
9.5 Manufacturing delay
If an unforeseen manufacturing issue affects the estimate, we promptly notify you of the reason and the revised readiness date. The revised readiness date under this emergency extension must be no more than 7 additional working days after the original preparation period ends. This does not override an essential agreed date or a mandatory right. If more time is needed, we offer waiting until an agreed new date or cancellation and refund where due. We do not impose repeated extensions or indefinite waiting.
9.6 Inability to fulfil
If fulfilment becomes impossible or we cannot meet the revised date, we notify you and provide cancellation and refund where due or the appropriate lawful remedy. A new date or alternative may be agreed with you; we do not unilaterally substitute specifications or increase the price. Clauses 5.5, 6.9, 8 and 14 apply.
9.7 Presentation and brand keepsakes
Each order includes the brand photograph and message as part of its presentation, using authorised Haya and Anas material. These are brand materials supplied with the order, not separate products available to buy or a customer photo-upload, editing or personal-message service. We do not promise a unique image for each customer or a particular selectable image unless expressly offered. An extra item of brand material may be agreed in writing for a particular order. If digital content or a QR link is made available with the presentation, it provides only the content and functions identified when used; the link is not proof of order ownership and does not itself grant access to private order details. That content is separate from order-acceptance text sharing and is governed by section 12 and the Privacy Policy.
10 Manufacturing defects and care
10.1 Our commitment
We undertake to deliver rings free from manufacturing defects and conforming to the Binding Specifications. This includes an original defect present at delivery that becomes apparent later. We do not offer an additional general two-year commercial warranty or a guarantee against all effects of use. Defect and non-conformity rights continue for the periods and remedies required by law.
10.2 Daily care
Avoid impact, abrasive work, harsh chemicals, chlorine, perfume and cosmetics. Remove the ring for swimming, cleaning, sport or work likely to damage it. Dry gently and store separately. Follow item-specific care instructions. These instructions do not excuse an original defect or incorrect description. Do not attempt to dismantle or replace stones or assembled components yourself, or pull on stone-set parts.
10.3 Silver
Silver may change colour or tarnish through perspiration, moisture, cosmetics and surrounding substances. The speed and extent vary with the person, exposure and use. We do not guarantee that its colour will remain unchanged. Colour change alone is not evidence of a manufacturing defect; wrong fineness, an undisclosed finish problem or a proven original defect remains subject to legal remedies.
10.4 Rhodium and wear
Rhodium can wear gradually with use, and ordinary scratches and wear may appear. These effects alone are not manufacturing defects. We are not responsible for loss or theft after risk has passed to you or damage actually caused by misuse or impact, always distinguishing it from an original defect. We do not make a universal guarantee that a metal cannot cause a skin reaction. If you have a known sensitivity, review the material specifications before purchase.
10.5 After-sales services and gifts
We do not offer lifetime care, cleaning, polishing, re-plating, resizing or elective repair services. This does not prevent repair or replacement we must provide for a defect or non-conformity. A gift recipient may bring a claim with evidence identifying the original order; a refund is normally returned to the original purchaser’s payment method.
10.6 Stone appearance and treatments
The appearance and care requirements of a stone depend on its type and any treatment identified for the piece. Avoid abrasive cleaning, impact, sudden heat and chemicals; follow the item-specific guidance. We do not make an unconditional promise that every white or red stone will remain unchanged in every circumstance. A disclosed natural characteristic or ordinary surface residue is different from an undisclosed treatment, incorrect stone or proven original defect. Those distinctions are assessed on evidence and do not remove legal remedies.
11 Yours and Mine availability notices and offers
11.1 Yours and Mine pair discount
The Yours & Mine flow gives a 10% discount on the combined product price of a For Him ring and a For Her ring in matching quantities, from the combinations available in that flow. The two rings may have different available metals; no same-metal condition is imposed merely by this offer. The discount applies to products, not delivery or external import charges. Merely adding individual rings outside the qualifying flow does not establish eligibility. Discounts are not combined unless the specific approved offer expressly permits it. The applied discount and its allocation between items are recorded with the order.
11.2 Offer conditions
Eligibility, duration and conditions of an offer are disclosed with it and apply within the law. We may stop an offer for future orders or reject an invalid or fraudulently used code, but do not retrospectively remove a discount fixed for a paid order without a lawful basis. We respect any mandatory promotion-related price adjustment or reimbursement right. Paid gift cards are not sold through this purchase flow.
11.3 Availability notices
An availability registration concerns only the item or release for which you requested a notice. It is not a capacity reservation, purchase or availability guarantee and does not automatically subscribe you to brand news or offers. You may stop these notices through the available method or by contacting support@thering.ae, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
12 Intellectual property and sharing
12.1 Content rights
The THE RING name, logos, ring designs, drawings, images, text and Website materials are owned by or licensed to us and legally protected. This includes authorised material featuring people associated with the brand. Buying a ring does not grant rights in a person’s name, image or voice or imply an affiliation with another person or organisation unless expressly and lawfully stated.
12.2 Permitted use
You may use the Website for personal shopping and as otherwise allowed by law. You must not copy protected designs, impersonate the brand or reproduce or commercially exploit content without written permission or a lawful entitlement. Ownership of the physical item does not transfer design or content rights.
12.3 QR photographs and sharing
Where we make a brand photograph or message available to save or share through digital content or a QR link, the permission is personal and non-commercial for the designated material, without misleading alteration, impersonation or an assertion of endorsement. It does not grant a licence to sell prints or downloads or exploit a person’s name, likeness or voice commercially. Do not share private account, order, tracking or access links or another person’s data. A brand keepsake link is not proof of order ownership. Available functions depend on the content actually provided and do not create a general right to a digital copy of every material.
12.4 External services
Sharing through a social platform or your device service is also subject to that service’s terms and privacy settings. Once you choose to publish, you and the platform control its audience and copies. The Privacy Policy explains processing associated with the card and its data.
12.5 Sharing order-acceptance brand text
After acceptance, the order page may let you share brand text and the public Website link through your device’s options, or copy them where direct sharing is unavailable. We do not add your name, order number, price, size, address or private access details to that content. Order acceptance or the presence of a sharing option does not publish anything without your choice. Any access to a private order page requires appropriate verification, and a private link does not become public sharing material. This is separate from the brand photograph and message described in clause 9.7.
13 Liability
13.1 Liability preserved
We do not exclude or limit liability that law does not allow us to exclude or limit, including fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury for which we are responsible, and mandatory conformity, defect, delivery, refund and data obligations. No contractual limitation makes those obligations optional.
13.2 Loss and compensation
Liability for proven loss is determined by law, causation and evidence. To the extent permitted, we are not responsible for business, investment or profit losses or loss not legally attributable to our breach. This does not exclude mandatory compensation or recoverable loss caused by a proven breach, including the importance of an expressly agreed essential date.
13.3 External causes and your information
We are not responsible to the extent loss is proven to result from inaccurate information you supplied, misuse or another cause for which we are not legally responsible. Using a manufacturer, carrier or payment provider does not automatically exempt us from obligations to you. We do not guarantee the content or operation of independent services we do not control, while remaining responsible for our own legally attributable failures.
14 Events outside our control
14.1 Qualifying events
A natural disaster, war, government restriction or widespread transport or infrastructure disruption may affect performance. The actual effect and legal requirements determine the consequences. Gold-price increases, order volume or ordinary manufacturing difficulty are not automatically force majeure.
14.2 Notice and mitigation
We notify you without undue delay if your order is affected, explain the effect and take reasonable steps to mitigate it. Suspension is limited to the extent and period permitted by law. We propose a new date where performance remains possible, subject to clause 9 and your delay-related rights.
14.3 Impossibility or prolonged delay
If performance becomes impossible or delay gives a legal right to end the order, the transaction, cancellation and refund are addressed under applicable law. We do not retain payment indefinitely for undelivered products merely because the cause is outside our control.
15 Complaints governing law and courts
15.1 Complaints
Contact support@thering.ae with your order number and the issue. We aim to provide an initial response within 3 working days. High volume may affect this target without extending a legal deadline. An initial response is not a promise to finish the investigation or resolve the whole case within that period. Team hours are stated in clause 1.1.
15.2 Governing law
These Terms and orders are governed by the laws of Dubai and the federal laws of the UAE applicable in Dubai, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections applicable to the transaction in another jurisdiction.
15.3 Recourse
Dubai courts have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory jurisdiction rules. You may complain to the competent consumer-protection authority, exercise bank rights or pursue other available legal recourse. These Terms do not impose pre-dispute arbitration or make completion of our internal complaint process a condition of a remedy to which law entitles you.
16 General
16.1 Terms versions
The Terms version disclosed and accepted when you submitted the order applies to it. Later updates apply prospectively and do not retrospectively reduce rights in an existing order without a lawful basis and any required agreement. You may request the version attached to your order at support@thering.ae.
16.2 Electronic communications
Contracts, notices and invoices may be exchanged electronically as law permits. We use the details you provide for order and service messages, separately from optional marketing. Send notices to support@thering.ae or our registered address. Necessary records are retained under the Privacy Policy and law. An email failure alone does not cancel a recorded acceptance.
16.3 External links
The Website may link to independent services or sites with their own terms and notices. A link does not endorse all their content or remove our obligations for products and services we provide.
16.4 Contract documents and priority
These Terms, the individual specifications and commitments agreed before payment, the Order Acceptance record and associated documents form the order agreement. Mandatory law prevails, followed by expressly agreed individual specifications and commitments, then these Terms and related policies. A receipt or later summary cannot change the agreement unilaterally. This provision does not exclude a legally binding representation or preserved misrepresentation remedy.
16.5 Severability
If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent law allows. The provision is interpreted or severed only as necessary, without rewriting the agreement to prejudice a mandatory right.
16.6 No waiver
Delay in exercising a right is not a waiver, subject to legal time limits. Not taking action in one case does not prevent lawful action in a later case.
16.7 Transfer
Rights and obligations may transfer in a lawful business transfer if your rights and data protection are not diminished and any legally required notice or consent is respected. Purchase does not transfer intellectual-property rights or prevent gifting the item or a recipient claim under clause 10.5.
16.8 Language
These Terms are published in Arabic and English with corresponding obligations. If their meaning differs, the Arabic text prevails to the extent permitted by law, without reducing a material representation on which you legitimately relied at purchase or a mandatory language or consumer protection. Contact us for clarification if you identify a discrepancy.
17 Mandatory withdrawal rights for eligible international consumers
17.1 When this section applies
This section explains the mandatory distance-sale withdrawal rights of consumers in the EU, EEA, United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia where the law of that jurisdiction applies to the transaction. It is not a representation that every destination is offered or that every transaction has identical rights. Mandatory rules of the applicable country, including any more favourable period or remedy, prevail. Defect, non-conformity and non-delivery rights remain separate.
17.2 EU EEA and United Kingdom withdrawal period
Where the statutory distance-sale right applies, you may withdraw without giving a reason within 14 calendar days after you or a person you nominate, other than the carrier, physically receives the goods. If goods from one order arrive separately, the period runs from receipt of the last item as the applicable law provides. You may communicate withdrawal before delivery as well. A longer period required because of missing statutory information or another mandatory rule is not reduced by these Terms.
17.3 Personalisation exception
An exception for genuinely made-to-specification or clearly personalised goods applies only if the actual item and agreement satisfy the applicable legal test. Standard catalogue choices such as an offered size, metal or stone are not automatically treated as unique personalisation. Beginning production or describing the sale as a pre-order does not by itself remove a withdrawal right. A lawful personalisation exception never excludes a remedy for defects or non-conformity.
17.4 How to notify withdrawal
Send an unequivocal withdrawal notice to support@thering.ae or HAYA VISION JEWELLERY L.L.C., Office C1802-12, Ontario Tower, Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Identify yourself and the order and state that you wish to withdraw. You may use the model notice in clause 17.10, but it is not compulsory. Sending the notice before the deadline is sufficient where the applicable law so provides; it is not conditional on our approval, an account, an inspection, a video or payment of a cancellation fee. We acknowledge electronic notices without undue delay. Any mandatory online withdrawal facility is an additional channel, not a restriction on a valid notice by another permitted means.
17.5 Return after withdrawal
For an applicable EU, EEA or UK withdrawal, send back or hand over the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days after notifying us, unless we have offered to collect them or the applicable law provides otherwise. Contact us promptly for a safe return arrangement and the appropriate return destination. A request for instructions or collection coordination does not make your withdrawal conditional on approval or extend a deadline against your rights. You may use our address in clause 17.4 if no other return address is supplied; jewellery must be sent through a suitable lawful service with evidence of dispatch.
17.6 Return costs and handling
For a statutory change-of-mind withdrawal, you bear only the direct return cost where we have disclosed that responsibility and the law permits it. If the piece cannot normally be returned by post, we disclose a reasonable estimate of the required return cost before purchase where the law requires. We bear the cost where law requires or we have agreed to do so. For a defect or our non-conformity, clause 8.1 applies. Under applicable EU, EEA and UK rules, any diminished-value deduction is limited to proven handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the item, and only where the legal conditions for that deduction are met. Trying an item as reasonably permitted in a shop is not automatically a total loss of the refund; no restocking or cancellation penalty is imposed.
17.7 Withdrawal refund
For an applicable EU, EEA or UK withdrawal, we reimburse the payments due without undue delay and within the statutory 14-calendar-day period. For EU rules this normally runs from receipt of the withdrawal notice, with lawful withholding until we receive the goods or evidence of dispatch, whichever is earlier, unless we offered collection. Under UK rules, where we have not offered collection, the outer reimbursement deadline is 14 days after receipt of the goods or earlier evidence of their return; otherwise it runs from notice. We reimburse the standard outbound delivery cost required by law; an expressly chosen extra delivery upgrade need not be reimbursed beyond the least expensive standard option offered. Refunds use the original payment method unless you expressly agree to another method without a fee. These rules prevail over the ordinary target in clause 6.9.
17.8 Saudi Arabia
Where the Saudi E-Commerce Law applies, an eligible consumer may rescind the contract during the 7 days following receipt of the product, provided the product has not been used and no benefit has been obtained, subject to the statutory exceptions. An exception for products manufactured at the consumer’s request or to their specifications is applied only on its actual legal basis and never to defeat a defect or non-conformity claim. The consumer bears lawful direct termination-related costs unless otherwise agreed or law requires the seller to bear them. Notify us under clause 17.4; we provide safe return instructions and refund amounts due without delay within the applicable statutory period. The ordinary processing target never overrides that period.
17.9 Delay and other mandatory protections
These withdrawal periods do not shorten a separate right arising from delay, failed supply, defects or misleading information. Where Saudi law applies, we notify you of expected material delay and respect the statutory right to terminate for delay beyond the applicable agreed delivery or performance date or statutory period, subject to its lawful conditions and force-majeure rules. In every applicable jurisdiction an expressly agreed essential date and any lawful right to give a further reasonable period or terminate are respected; an internal preparation extension does not remove them.
17.10 Model withdrawal notice
Address the notice to HAYA VISION JEWELLERY L.L.C., Office C1802-12, Ontario Tower, Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates; support@thering.ae. You may use this statement: “I/We hereby give notice that I/we withdraw from my/our contract of sale for the goods identified in this notice.” Then identify the goods and order reference, the date ordered and date received if received, your name, your address and the date of the notice. A signature is needed only when the notice is supplied on paper. Delete an inapplicable alternative when using the statement. No specific form is compulsory where an unequivocal notice is sufficient by law.
ShippingVersion 2026-10-13-v5-dap-shipping
1. Delivery destinations and fees.
Complimentary tracked delivery within the United Arab Emirates. For other supported countries, a fixed DHL Express transport fee is shown at checkout before payment.
2. Preparation lead time.
Each piece is made to order. The preparation period shown for your order starts when your order is accepted, and ends when the piece is ready to ship from Dubai. Courier transit and customs clearance are separate from this period.
3. Tracking.
Every parcel ships with DHL Express tracking, shared by email once the parcel leaves us.
4. Signature or one-time code on delivery.
A signature or a one-time code sent to your phone or email may be required on delivery. Please ensure the person receiving the parcel is authorised to accept it on your behalf.
5. Import duties and taxes.
Import duties, taxes and any clearance fees due in the destination country are not included in the order total. The recipient is responsible for them and pays them directly to the carrier or competent authority. THE RING does not collect or reconcile these charges; the transport fee is fixed.
6. Delivery failures.
If delivery fails because of an incorrect address, non-response, refusal or failure to cooperate with a lawful import requirement, we coordinate with DHL and contact you about return, redelivery or another lawful resolution. There is no fixed number of attempts. Where the failure is proven attributable to you, we may recover only reasonable actual redelivery costs permitted by law; the product price is not forfeited.
Return PolicyVersion 2026-10-13-v3-return
1. No voluntary change-of-mind returns.
Each ring is made to your selections. We do not offer a voluntary return or exchange programme for changing your mind or selecting a size, colour or stone that does not suit you. This does not exclude a mandatory withdrawal or return right where applicable, or a refund for defects, non-conformity or failed supply.
2. Defects and non-conformity.
If a ring is defective, damaged before delivery, incorrectly supplied, incomplete or contrary to its agreed specifications, we provide the repair, replacement, refund or other remedy required by applicable law. Where we are responsible, we bear the necessary return and remedy costs.
3. Reporting within 48 hours.
Please notify support@thering.ae within 48 hours of receipt of visible damage, missing contents or a wrong item, with your order number, a description and available photographs. Where available, a continuous video beginning with the sealed package helps verification. Lack of a video or later notice does not automatically defeat a statutory claim, and this period does not affect hidden defects discovered later.
4. Returning an item.
Contact us for return instructions and a suitable collection arrangement. Do not send jewellery to an unconfirmed address or through an unsuitable carrier. Return the item with its documents and packaging where reasonably available.
5. Assessment.
We normally examine the item and tell you the result within one week after receiving it, explaining the reason for any necessary delay. Our assessment does not remove your right to challenge it or seek recourse from a competent authority.
6. Refunds.
A refund due is made through Stripe to the original payment method, ordinarily within 5 to 10 working days after confirming entitlement; bank posting time is separate. We do not replace a mandatory refund with store credit without your agreement.
These summaries are read with the Terms and Conditions (sections 8 and 6.9), which prevail.
